Job summary

Archangel Autonomy is seeking a detail-focused Controls System Engineer to support the analysis, modelling, design and delivery of the UXV navigation co-pilot platform. The role involves developing autonomous navigation components for use in civil and military contexts, working with a forward-thinking team to push AI solutions forward.

You will own design, modelling and testing of control systems, with opportunities to improve tools and processes while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of control systems (state estimation, guidance, control)
Experience simulating complex dynamic systems
Knowledge of sensor fusion and navigation (EKF etc.)
Scripting with Python

Responsibilities

Design, implement and test control systems for UXV navigation and control
Set up models, tools and processes for rapid design, implementation and validation of features
Continuously improve related systems, processes and tools
