Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking a Planning Solicitor (NQ-5 PQE) to join a specialist Planning, Environmental, Energy and Regulatory team in Chester. You will work directly alongside experienced Partners, gaining early exposure to high-quality work and client relationships while building your own caseload.

Your workload will include planning applications, appeals and objections; Section 106, S38 and S278 agreements; High Court challenges and Judicial Review; planning enforcement, prosecutions and

Qualifications

• NQ-5 PQE with planning law experience
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Planning applications, appeals and objections
• Section 106, S38 and S278 agreements
• High Court challenges and Judicial Review
• Planning enforcement, prosecutions and Certificates of Lawfulness
• Compulsory Purchase Orders, village greens and public rights of way
• Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) matters
• Advising across contentious and non-contentious planning matters
