A new opportunity, which offers unrivalled prospects, has arisen for a Planning Law Specialist.

You will be involved in a diverse and interesting range of work for clients with interests and concerns in green belt land; regeneration and development; affordable housing; listed buildings; change of use; energy, transport, and infrastructure projects.

You will play a pivotal, client-facing role and be responsible for the development of planning services. Gravitas, enthusiasm, and excellent organisational & communication skills are essential.

Senior lateral hire enquiries are most welcome. All applications from experienced planning specialists will be considered – the role requires not less than 5 years’ PQE (or equivalent) in technical skills, gained in either local authority or private practice.

Responsibilities include managing instructions and projects for clients, and providing support to the real estate, construction, and litigation teams. Experience likely to include:

  • Compulsory Purchase Orders
  • Applications and Objections on Planning Permissions
  • Appeals, Reviews, and Inquiries
  • Section 106 and Section 278 agreements
