Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an exciting start-up business that is growing rapidly. Operating in the food manufacturing industry, they have been backed by leading food industry professionals, giving them a significant advantage in the industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performance and financial control at the site, planning production schedules, managing stock and raw materials, and assisting with financial reports.

• Institute and maintain demand planning systems to control raw material purchases and production output
• Maintain accurate stock records, rotation, and picking disciplines to minimize stock losses
• Provide costings for in-house and sourced products, track variances, and drive improvements
• Support inbound transport and customer delivery schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency and customer service
• Order raw materials and finished goods based on sales and production forecasts
• Produce financial reports for company accountants

We seek an individual with experience in planning or supply chain functions, with a strong analytical mindset. Applicants must have worked within a food manufacturing environment. Experience in small to medium-sized businesses, being a strong team player, and having a curious mindset for continuous improvement are preferred.
