We are currently recruiting for an exciting start-up business that is growing rapidly. Operating in the food manufacturing industry, they have been backed by leading food industry professionals, giving them a significant advantage in the market.

They are expanding their small team with an individual responsible for performance and financial control at the site, planning production schedules, managing stock and raw materials levels, and assisting with financial reports.

1. Institute and maintain demand planning systems to control raw material purchases and production output.
2. Maintain accuracy of stock record keeping, rotation, and picking disciplines to minimize stock losses.
3. Provide costings for both in-house and sourced products, track variances, and drive improvements.
4. Support inbound transport and customer delivery schedules to reduce costs and maximize efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
5. Order raw materials and finished goods according to sales and production forecasts.
6. Produce financial reports for submission to the company's accountants.

We seek someone with experience in planning or supply chain functions, a strong analytical mindset, and prior experience in a food manufacturing environment. Ideally, candidates will have worked in small to medium-sized businesses, be strong team players, and possess a curious mindset, always seeking new solutions to improve efficiency.
