Job summary

Talacre, North Wales – Planning Engineer role within the Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). On-site 5 days a week, up to 10 hours daily, with occasional Saturday mornings.

You will develop the Project Schedule per contractual requirements and internal standards, ensuring feasibility and highlighting criticalities. Responsibilities include creating 90-day look-ahead schedules, weekly and monthly schedules, and assisting in status reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5-8 years in planning activities within an EPCI project environment.
• Strong planning for construction phases.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Schedule in line with contract requirements and standards.
• Implement the Planning and Progress Control System.
• Identify deviations from the plan and analyse their impact.
• Create a 90-day look-ahead, weekly, and monthly schedules.
• Support the Project Control Manager with Project Status Reports.

Purpose of the position:

As the Planning Engineer you will be part of the Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will ensure the development of the Project Schedule.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• As the Planning Engineer, you will ensure the development of the Project Schedule according to contractual requirements and internal standards, verifying its feasibility and highlighting any criticalities
• Implement the Planning and Progress Control System
• As the Planning Engineer, you will ensure any deviation from the plan is promptly spotted and analysed
• Create a schedule awareness atmosphere amongst all project participants
• Create and maintain the 90 days look-ahead schedule, weekly schedule, and monthly schedule
• As the Planning Engineer, you will assist the Project Control Manager in the preparation of the Project Status Report
• Support the Project during contract amendments/claims and provide the time impact analysis
• As the Planning Engineer, you will participate in risk management activities including schedule risk analysis

What are we looking for?

• Experience: 5-8 years in planning activities within an EPCI project environment
• Technical skills: As the Planning Engineer, you will have experience in planning for construction phases
• IT skills: Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
