Role Overview

Support the Quality & Compliance team, based in Exeter, with planning compliance, quality management, risk assessment, and monitoring of conditions and legal obligations attached to planning permissions, whether granted by local authorities or the Planning Inspectorate on appeal. Responsibilities include managing processes and projects, with increasing competency through experience.

What will you be doing?

• Assist with planning and grid room management, ensuring data accuracy and updates
• Review and monitor planning conditions and legal obligations, including:
• Assess cost implications of landscaping, biodiversity, and drainage enhancements/mitigation
• Monitor ongoing compliance and progress in discharging requirements
• Liaise with internal teams, external consultants, local authorities, and clients
• Conduct solar site visit risk assessments and compliance checks as needed
• Provide technical assistance to projects

• High capacity for learning, adaptation, and applying new skills
• Intermediate IT skills (MS Office, Excel, Adobe) and computer literacy
• Self-motivated, inspired, and goal-oriented
