Job summary

Jobtailor in the East Midlands is seeking a proactive team leader to inspire and manage planning assistants, ensuring top-notch service to customers. You will lead regular team meetings, conduct one-to-ones and performance reviews, and act as the technical expert for chemical ordering.

With a focus on process improvement, you’ll liaison with suppliers, resolve invoicing issues, and use Power Apps to monitor deliveries and performance metrics, driving continuous improvement and a high-performance

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team or people management.
• Experience coaching and guiding a team.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate others.
• Exposure to Power Apps for performance metrics is a plus.
• Able to identify improvements and support change.
• Positive, caring attitude and strong character.
• Availability Monday–Friday 07:30–16:00.
• Willingness to travel to other sites for meetings.

• Ensure the highest standards of service are delivered to customers


• Lead team meetings, one-to-ones and performance reviews


• Act as the technical expert for chemical ordering


• Liaise with chemical suppliers and the chemical delivery coordinator

Requirements

• Previous experience as a team leader or people manager


• Experience coaching and leading a team


• Strong people leadership skills


• Experience using Power Apps to measure performance indicators would be handy


• Ability to identify better ways of working and support teams through change


• Positive, caring attitude and strong character


• Ability to work Monday-Friday between 07:30am and 4:00pm


• Willingness to travel to meetings at other sites
