Severn Trent Water in Pride Park, Derby, invites applications for a Planning Assistant Team Leader to join the Workforce Planning & Optimisation team. You will inspire and lead a team of planning assistants, running meetings and reviews to maintain excellent customer service across sites.
You will act as the technical expert for chemical ordering, coordinate with suppliers, and analyze performance data to drive improvements in service metrics, using Power Apps to monitor deliveries and orders.

We’re looking for aPlanning Assistant Team Leaderto join the Workforce Planning & Optimisation team in Pride Park, Derby.
Your main responsibility is to inspire, motivate and lead a team of planning assistants, ensuring the highest standards of service is always delivered to our customers. You’ll lead team meetings, 121s and performance reviews.
You’ll also be our technical expert for chemical ordering, ensuring smooth deliveries across our sites by liaising with our chemical suppliers and chemical delivery coordinator to resolve invoicing issues and other queries.
You’ll drive understanding in processes and performance outcomes by providing insight and recommendations on performance to ensure delivery of key service metrics. The team use power apps to monitor chemical deliveries and orders which will play a part of the team’s metrics.
You'll be based in our modernPride Park, Derbysite where you’ll be able to park for free or get to with ease with loads of local travel options. In this role,you’ll work Monday-Friday between the hours of 07:30am – 4pmand there may be some travel to meetings at other sites.
