Job summary

Greencore seeks a Site Planner at its Park Royal operation in West London. You will create daily production plans, manage stock levels and work with multiple teams to keep the factory running efficiently and cost-effectively.

In a fast-paced FMCG environment, you’ll forecast needs, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong communication with colleagues and customers on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in a planning role within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Strong numerical ability with data analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient IT user, particularly Excel; willingness to upskill further.
• Proactive problem solver who can take initiative and resolve challenges.
• Highly organised and able to manage changing priorities.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Planner, you will create daily production plans, manage stock levels and ensure the factory runs efficiently to meet customer demand. You will forecast requirements, track performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs. Acting as a key link between departments, you will communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to support smooth operational performance every day.

Role Accountabilities

• Plan and prioritise production to maximise efficiency while meeting customer service targets


• Manage stock levels across finished goods, WIP and offsite inventory accurately and proactively


• Monitor factory performance daily, ensuring strong operational flow and timely delivery


• Forecast production needs to support material availability and labour planning


• Track, analyse and improve KPIs to support continuous operational excellence


• Collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders


• Identify and implement improvements to reduce costs, enhance efficiency and optimise planning processes

• Experience in a planning role within a fast‑paced or FMCG environment


• Strong numerical ability with confidence analysing data and making informed decisions


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supporting effective cross‑functional working


• Proficient IT user, particularly skilled in Excel, with willingness to enhance technical capability further


• Proactive problem solver, able to take initiative and resolve challenges quickly


• Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage changing priorities effectively
