Job summary

Greencore in Bo’ness, Scotland, is seeking a Planner to create daily production plans, manage stock and drive efficient operations to meet customer demand. You will forecast requirements, monitor performance and collaborate with colleagues and customers to ensure smooth daily output.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Planner, you will create daily production plans, manage stock levels and ensure the factory runs efficiently to meet customer demand. You will forecast requirements, track performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs. Acting as a key link between departments, you will communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to support smooth operational performance every day.

Role Accountabilities

  • Proficient IT user, particularly skilled in Excel, with willingness to enhance technical capability further
  • Proactive problem solver, able to take initiative and resolve challenges quickly
  • Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage changing priorities effectively
  • Strong collaborator who builds trusted relationships with teams and stakeholders
  • Keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy across planning, forecasting and reporting
