Job summary

Robertson is recruiting a Planner in Gateshead to prepare and update project programmes for live projects, bids and construction stages, with regular monitoring of progress against programme.

You’ll work with the pre-con team and supply chain to develop tender programmes, reflect design, procurement and installation milestones, and report to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

  • Assist the precon team in the preparation of bid stage programmes through the examination of site constraints, type and size of build, location, client cost and programme indicators, design details and any other available information
  • Assist the team in the detailed development of Tender Programmes, liaising with key supply chain partners to achieve 80% supply chain ‘buy–in’, and produce fully logic linked programme prior to bid sign–off
  • The development of tender programmes, in conjunction with the team to provide a full suite of contract programmes
  • To ensure that the contract programmes reflect agreed supply chain requirements, including design, procurement, manufacture and installation together with any interface with other trades
  • To assist in the update and revision of contract programmes due to client change/ variation or the requirement for recovery measures due to contract delay
  • Regular monitoring and recording of project progress against critical path on both the client programme and DPC programme
  • The preparation of progress reports, in conjunction with the Operations Manager, for both external client reporting and internal contract review
  • Any other reasonable task in line with business requirement

The role

The preparation and updating of project programmes for live projects, bid/tender and construction stages and the regular monitoring and reporting of project progress against programme.
