We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a Mechanical Craftsperson to join our team based in Plymouth and Totnes. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £34,368 - £40,729 per annum. You will also receive a guaranteed standby allowance, plus additional payments for call out and overtime opportunities. You will also be entitled to a company van and a range of excellent company benefits. You will be required to work a 37 hour week and benefit from 1 in 4 Fridays off.
About the role: As the Planned Mechanical Craftsperson (Planned Mechanical Maintenance Engineer) you will take ownership of fault finding, repairing and maintaining South West Water assets across a range of Waste Water company sites, treatment works and sewage pumping stations. To help ensure maximum asset availability and support the South West Water Vision by assisting in minimising risk to compliance and preventing pollution. You will provide services to a high standard in a sustainable manner that meets the required internal and external customer service levels, whilst minimising risk to compliance and meeting quality requirements.
