Job description

Job Title: Estates Mechanical Lead Technician

Do you hold a level 3 BTEC/City & Guilds qualification, have completed an apprenticeship in a mechanical or building service engineering trade, or possess equivalent training or industry experience?

Do you enjoy problem solving and using a hands-on approach in your daily work?

If you answered yes to both questions, we want to hear from you!

Join us as an Estates Mechanical Lead Technician, playing a key role in the Estates Operations team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to provide the best environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work with other trades to carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on the trust estate.
  2. Perform a varied role where no two days are the same, with flexibility to carry out maintenance tasks and emergency calls outside normal clinical hours.
  3. The shift rota is from 7:15 am to 6:00 pm, four days per week, with one rolling rest day. On-call duties will be required.
