We're looking for a Senior Process Technologist to join our site in Bodmin. We specialize in cooked bacon and slow-cooked meats. Slow cooking allows for culinary creativity across various cuisines and tasty dishes. This role offers an opportunity to play a key part in process innovation as we aim for growth. You will be instrumental in launching our delicious products smoothly, safely, and successfully.

You will be part of a dynamic team, managing projects from trial stages to product launch. Your experience will be vital during the NPD stages to ensure products are expertly developed from the outset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting and developing your team with clear goals
• Scoping out projects
• Driving innovation aligned with business goals
• Collaborating with internal departments during factory trials
• Problem-solving and ensuring launches stay on track and within budget
• Managing customer panels and approvals
• Managing and maintaining the critical path
• Overseeing trial budgets in conjunction with the Site NPD Manager
• Maintaining audit readiness
• Adhering to customer standards and codes of practice

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong background in food manufacturing, especially in customer trials and critical path planning
• Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2 qualifications
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in fostering a vibrant food culture
• Driver's license is required
