Job summary

Diageo is recruiting a Planned Maintenance Leader for our Leven site in Scotland. You will drive performance on safety, quality, environment, asset care, delivery, productivity, cost and morale, leading planning across packaging lines and coaching multi-disciplinary teams for reliability.

The role requires a time-served trade in electrical, mechanical or instrument control, and experience with Lean, Six Sigma or TPM. A strong emphasis on governance and continuous improvement is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance across Safety, Quality, Environment, Asset Care, Delivery, Productivity, Cost and Morale.
• Lead Asset Care planning and prioritisation across packaging lines; optimise maintenance tasks with RCM.
• Coach and support Craft and Operational teams to improve performance and equipment reliability.
• Ensure governance around health & safety, quality and environment compliance.
• Manage safe maintenance execution by internal teams and external contractors with permits and high-risk works.
• Support Continuous Improvement and situational problem solving for efficiency.

About the Role

• Delivery of outstanding performance in all aspects of the balanced scorecard (Safety, Quality, Environment, Asset Care, Delivery, Productivity, Cost and Morale).
• Lead on Asset Care planning & prioritisation across multiple packaging lines, including maintenance task optimisation using tools such as RCM Take accountability for asset care standards within the area and ensure delivery of effective Asset Care processes and procedures.
• Coach and support Craft and Operational teams to deliver performance and increase reliability of equipment.
• Ensure good governance around internal and external compliance (health & safety, quality and environment).
• Manage safe execution of maintenance activity by internal teams and external contractors through issuing permits and controlling high risk works Continuous Improvement – support situational problem solving activity and efficiency.
• Work with Craft teams and OEMs to drive faster problem solving and greater Plant Availability.
