Job summary

Diageo is seeking an Operator for night shift at Shieldhall to join our Supply Chain & Manufacturing teams. You’ll help deliver safe, high‑quality products, follow procedures and support ongoing improvements in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

You’ll work collaboratively, maintain high safety standards, perform quality checks, and handle materials and equipment across a range of operational activities. SAP, Excel, Teams skills are useful, and a proactive attitude is valued.

Job Description : Operator (Night Shift 28.5 hours per week) Shieldhall Permanent Closing date: Midnight 10th September 2026

Join our Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams! Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world. Key Accountabilities

  • Carry out quality checks and assume responsibility for quality at source.
  • Safely handle materials, products and equipment across a variety of operational activities.
  • Complete product rework and support process changeovers as required.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards through 5S practices.
  • Contribute to waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support training and coaching activities.
  • Complete required training and take ownership of your ongoing development and growth.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in a production or FMCG environment (desirable).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and machine operations.

  • Confidence using systems and applications such as Excel, Word, Teams, and SAP.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to analyse data and drive improvements.
