Job summary

Clarion Housing Group in Birmingham is seeking a Planned Investment Manager/Surveyor to lead delivery of the Planned Asset Investment Programme. Hybrid role with a base at Lombard House, Birmingham, and significant field time across the Midlands.

You will develop, validate and deliver the programme with a focus on value for money, working with residents and internal teams to ensure alignment with Asset Strategy and regulatory requirements.

• Strong contract management with budget control, forecasting and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Clarion's Planned Asset Investment Programme.
• Collaborate with Tier 1 contractor and internal teams to align plans and outcomes.
• Undertake stock condition surveys and site inspections before, during and after works for quality and compliance.
• Provide updates on plans, progress and outcomes to stakeholders.

We’reseeking an experiencedPlanned Investment Manager/Surveyorto lead delivery of Clarion’s Planned Asset Investment Programme. Working with our Tier 1 partnering contractor,you’lldeliver a programme of works primarily across the Midlands and work within a team covering a significantly larger area.

You’llbe responsible fordeveloping,validating, and delivering the planned programme within a defined area, ensuring a strategic and value-for-money approach.You’llwork closely with internal teams and residents, providing clear updates on plans, progress, and outcomes, and ensuring alignment with Property Services and Asset Strategy.

In partnership with contractors,you’llundertake stock condition surveys to inform programme scope and carry out site inspections before, during, and after works to ensure quality, compliance, and commercial control, including monthly valuations.

You’llhave proven experience delivering planned investment programmes, strong contract management skills, and a solid understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. Strong commercial experience is essential, including budget control, forecasting, and risk management.

With hybrid working, base locations across England, and flexible working arrangements, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for; the role is hybrid with a base at our Lombard House offices in Birmingham, but a significant amount of time will be spent working in the field, including travel across the region and occasional visits to other Clarion offices, with applicants also expected to cover schemes in other areas as required.
