Clarion Housing Group in the Midlands is seeking a Senior Construction Delivery Manager to drive complex HRB and high-rise residential projects from concept through to completion. You will oversee multiple project teams, manage defects, and ensure delivery against programme, budget and quality.
The role requires Chartered status (MCIOB or equivalent), experience with JCT Design & Build contracts, and a strong grasp of Building Safety Regulator Gateway processes.
Salary: £76,052.00 - £88,060.00 plus £5,000.00 car allowance per annum

We’re seeking a Senior Construction Delivery Manager to join our team in the Midlands.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering multiple complex projects within our current
development programmes, including managing the defect period. This is a key position within the Development Construction Delivery Team, where you’ll oversee HRB projects from conception through to completion, managing their complexities and ensuring successful implementation.
You’ll lead medium- to large-sized project teams, define the project vision, communicate clear outcomes and drive the team to achieve them. You’ll also be responsible for project delivery, providing assurance that project objectives are met.
The ideal candidate will be a proven leader and excellent communicator with significant experience delivering new-build, high-rise residential schemes, including HRB projects and complex apartment developments. You’ll have a strong understanding of the Building Safety Regulator Gateway Process, alongside detailed knowledge of residential build programmes, quality and safety processes. Experience administering JCT Design & Build contracts is also essential.
You’ll bring a strong track record within a construction development organisation and a thorough understanding of the development and construction process, from inception and feasibility through to completion, handover and operation. Experience managing joint ventures and Section 106 developments would be highly advantageous, as would previous experience working for a main contractor or subcontractor. Chartered status, such as MCIOB or equivalent, would also be desirable.

This is a hybrid role with a base location at our Birmingham Office. Candidates will be expected to undertake regular travel across the region, as required, to attend development sites. With occasional travel to other Clarion offices as and when required. Applicants must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
