Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking a Placement Engagement Coordinator to inspire students to engage with placements, internships and work-based learning. The role focuses on delivering workshops, digital resources and campaigns that build confidence and employability across a diverse student body.

You will use data-informed insights to tailor support, collaborate with CES colleagues and employer partners, and deliver scalable solutions both on campus and through hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience planning, delivering or evaluating activities for large groups using data insights.
• Ability to prepare and conduct presentations and group workshops.
• Confidence in analysing data to identify trends and measure success.
• Strong networking and negotiating abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven organisational and administrative skills for coordinating activities.
• Ability to understand services offered and assist customers while promoting services.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver workshops, campaigns, digital resources and events for student engagement.
• Engage with placements, internships and other work-based learning opportunities.
• Identify priority cohorts using data to tailor interventions and evaluate impact.
• Collaborate with colleagues and employer partners to create inclusive opportunities.
• Develop scalable solutions to support large numbers of students.
• Work from campus with hybrid arrangements, at least three days per week.
