Job summary

HP's Workforce Solutions Internship in Reading offers hands-on experience supporting a global technology business. You will work with cross-functional teams, contribute to real business activities, and develop skills in performance analysis, forecasting and strategic planning.

The 13-month placement is from 1 July 2027 to 31 July 2028, with a hybrid working model and travel to the Reading HP office. You will learn through data-driven reviews, presentations and collaboration with stakeholders

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external business reviews, reports and presentations.
• Track key business metrics including sales funnel, TCV, revenue and margin.
• Support forecasting and business planning activities.
• Track strategic growth initiatives across the Managed Services business.
• Analyse business data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with teams across HP to gather information and support priorities.
• Prepare data-driven updates for stakeholders.
• Assist ad-hoc projects and analysis across Workforce Solutions.

About the Role

As a Workforce Solutions Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting a global technology business. You'll work with teams across Workforce Solutions and have the opportunity to contribute to real business activities, analyse performance and support initiatives that drive growth.

What You'll Do

• Support the preparation of internal and external business reviews, reports and presentations.
• Track key business metrics including sales funnel, TCV, revenue and margin.
• Support sales and services forecasting and business planning activities.
• Track strategic growth initiatives across the Managed Services business.
• Analyse business data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Work with different teams and stakeholders across HP to gather information and support business priorities.
• Prepare clear, data-driven updates and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support ad-hoc projects and analysis across the Workforce Solutions organisation.

What You'll Learn

This placement will give you the opportunity to develop your analytical, commercial, communication and presentation skills, while gaining an understanding of how a global technology business operates. You'll gain exposure to areas including business performance, forecasting, services, sales, data analysis and strategic planning.

Placement Details
