Bruntwood SciTech is recruiting a Placement Quantity Surveyor for a September 2027 intake in Manchester. You will join a cohort of four placement students and gain on-the-job experience in commercial property surveying within a leading property developer.

You’ll complete your second year in 2027, travel around our portfolio, participate in induction, and start building a foundations for a career in surveying with support from a team that values innovation and community impact.

Placement Quantity Surveyor (September 2027 intake)

Our head office is Union based in the heart of Manchester City Centre on Albert Square. You’ll spend the majority of your working day here, as well as travelling to our spaces across our regional portfolio - hyperlinked below are some examples of our portfolio:

If successful you’d start with us in September 2027, joining as a cohort of four Placement students. One of which will be within Quantity Surveying. Starting with a robust induction period to understand the business, who we are and how we operate.

The salary for the role is currently positioned at £26,227.5, however it will rise in line with the real living wage changes in April 2027.

What happens next?

• The closing date for applications will be Friday 30th October
• All applicants will receive feedback by Friday 20th November
• If your application is successful you’ll get a call from our Talent team to discuss the role, Bruntwood SciTech and the Assessment Day further
• The assessment day will be Tuesday 1st December, please make sure you are available for this day
• You’ll receive an email or a phone call with feedback by Wednesday 9th December depending on your preference.
