Bruntwood SciTech invites applications for a Placement M&E Engineering Project Manager (September 2027 intake) in Manchester. You will join a four-person placement cohort and begin with a robust induction to understand the business and operations across our regional spaces.

You will contribute to surveying and commercial property knowledge with real on-the-job experience, supporting your studies in your 3rd year and building a strong foundation for your career.

Placement M&E Engineering Project Manager (September 2027 intake)

Our head office is Union based in the heart of Manchester City Centre on Albert Square. You’ll spend the majority of your working day here, as well as travelling to our spaces across our regional portfolio - hyperlinked below are some examples of our portfolio:

If successful you’d start with us in September 2027, joining as a cohort of four Placement students. One of which will be within Mechanical & Electrical Engineering as a Project Manager. Starting with a robust induction period to understand the business, who we are and how we operate.

We’ve got a great track record of developing Placement Students here at Bruntwood SciTech, so you’ll get a really clear introduction to the world of surveying and Commercial Property, with real tangible on the job experience that will not only greatly help you with your studies in 3rd year, but will set the foundations of your career.

The salary for the role is currently positioned at £26,227.5, however it will rise in line with the real living wage changes in April 2027.

What we’re looking for:

• You’ll be studying an Engineering degree completing your 2nd year of study in 2027, ready to start a placement in September 2027. With an interest Commercial Property/Architecture and the impact this has on our cities and our communities
• Any employment during study or out of term time will be taken into consideration but is not essential
• You’ll resonate with our values, understanding how we operate and the key to our success
• You’ll be curious and eager to learn, willing to travel around our portfolio and ask questions. Looking to gather the knowledge to innovate and make an impact early within your role
