Job summary

Protocol Mansfield is seeking an experienced Work Placement Officer to join a busy Further Education College on a temporary, full-time basis. You will coordinate learner work placements, build relationships with local employers, and ensure placements run smoothly from start to finish.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to manage a varied workload across multiple placements.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating learner work placements in education or FE.
• Ability to build relationships with local employers and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication with learners, employers, and curriculum teams.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop work placement opportunities with local employers.
• Match students to placements based on course, skills and career aims.
• Liaise with employers, learners and curriculum teams to ensure placement success.
• Conduct placement reviews, checks and employer visits as required.
• Monitor learner progress and provide ongoing support during placements.
• Maintain placement documentation, compliance checks and records.
• Build and maintain employer relationships and identify new placements.
