Job summary

YTL Developments (UK) Limited is seeking a senior retail and placemaking leader to shape Brabazon's commercial strategy. You will curate a vibrant mix of retailers and leisure operators, lead occupier negotiations and own the leasing pipeline from early talks to terms.

You’ll work closely with development teams to ensure spaces perform commercially while delivering a compelling destination. You’ll bring a track record in asset management or placemaking, strong financial analytics, and a network

Qualifications

• Significant experience in retail, leisure, hospitality or mixed-use asset management, leasing or placemaking.
• Proven ability to create leasing strategies and influence occupier mix.
• Strong knowledge of the retail and leisure market with an established network.
• Experience negotiating heads of terms and managing lease transactions with good commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver retail, dining and leisure strategy for Brabazon's identity.
• Curate a blend of national brands, locals, food concepts and leisure operators.
• Build relationships across the market and engage operators for Brabazon.
• Own the leasing pipeline from initial talks to heads of terms.
• Collaborate with development, design and construction teams on spaces.
• Influence layout, servicing and public realm to embed commercial thinking.
• Lead occupier negotiations balancing commercial and placemaking aims.
• Support operators through fit-out, handover and opening.
• Monitor performance metrics and opportunities to maximise value.
