Job summary

Lead Careers Ltd in Kent is seeking a Landscape Architect to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy. You will contribute from early concept through to delivery, with a focus on placemaking, SuDS, and nature-based solutions.

With 2–5 years of experience, you’ll visit sites, meet clients, sketch ideas and work alongside engineers and specialists to bring schemes to life. A landscape architect degree is required, along with a UK driving licence and the ability to consider levels, drainage,

Qualifications

• A landscape architect degree.
• 2–5 years' experience in landscape architecture.
• UK driving licence.
• Experience taking projects beyond the concept stage and considering levels, drainage, buildability, accessibility, biodiversity and how people will use a space.
• Good people skills with clients, engineers, local authorities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Taking projects from the first ideas through to delivery.
• Meeting clients and understanding what they want.
• Visiting sites and spotting opportunities.
• Coming up with creative landscape and nature-based design ideas.
• Producing sketches and visuals to bring ideas to life.
• Working alongside engineers and drainage specialists.
• Coordinating with other consultants and specialists.
• Speaking with local authorities, landowners and stakeholders.
• Ensuring designs are practical and buildable.
