Job summary

Urban Edge, a leading employee-owned multidisciplinary practice, seeks a Landscape Architect to join our Stamford/Nottingham team. You’ll lead projects from concept to delivery, develop masterplans, planting schemes, and detailed designs while coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

You’ll analyse sites, manage budgets, and contribute to planning submissions. A passion for sustainable placemaking and collaborative work will help you drive growth across UK projects.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Landscape Architecture (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• A few years’ professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong creative and technical design skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Passion for high-quality, sustainable placemaking.
• Interest in contributing to business growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Leading and contributing to projects from concept through to delivery.
• Developing masterplans, landscape strategies, planting plans, and detailed designs.
• Preparing drawings and documentation for planning submissions.
• Undertaking site analysis and feasibility work.
• Collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Selecting appropriate materials and sustainable design solutions.
• Supporting and driving new business development opportunities, including building client relationships and contributing to bids and proposals.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, policy, and best practice.
