Job summary

Hill Group UK is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our on-site team, shaping landscape, public realm, and placemaking across residential and mixed-use developments. You will work from concept and planning through to delivery, collaborating with land, planning, technical, development and construction colleagues to create sustainable, high-quality places.

Qualifications

Degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture.
Experience within a landscape practice, developer, housebuilder or multidisciplinary environment.
Good understanding of the UK planning system.
Knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), sustainable drainage and green infrastructure.
Strong design skills with a practical and commercially aware approach.
Experience taking projects from concept and planning through to delivery.

Responsibilities

Providing landscape design input across new and live developments.
Supporting site layouts, masterplans and placemaking strategies.
Reviewing and coordinating all landscape designs.
Creating and developing hard and soft landscape proposals.
Supporting planning applications and landscape conditions.
Integrating Biodiversity Net Gain, SuDS and green infrastructure.
Working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs are practical, coordinated and deliverable.
Visiting sites to help maintain landscape quality through construction.
