Sanremo The Italian Restaurant – Bath is seeking an experienced Pasta & Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team. You will craft fresh handmade pasta and authentic Italian pizzas, delivering high-quality dishes in a busy restaurant known for traditional techniques and great ingredients.

You’ll work with the Head Chef to maintain consistency, presentation, and flavour while staying calm under pressure. The role offers competitive pay and a friendly, supportive team in Bath.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Pasta Chef, Pizza Chef, or Italian Chef.
• Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine.
• Experience making fresh handmade pasta from scratch.
• Experience preparing and cooking traditional pizzas.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player.
• Passion for producing outstanding food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh handmade pasta dough from scratch.
• Shape, cut, and produce a variety of traditional pasta.

Pay: £14.00–£18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Sanremo The Italian Restaurant is looking for an experienced and passionate Pasta & Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team. If you have a genuine love for authentic Italian cuisine, experience making fresh pasta by hand, and can produce exceptional pizzas, we'd love to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, friendly restaurant where quality ingredients, traditional techniques, and consistency are at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh handmade pasta dough from scratch.
• Shape, cut, and produce a variety of traditional pasta.
• Cook pasta dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Develop and contribute new pasta recipes and seasonal specials.
• Ensure excellent presentation, flavour, and consistency.

Pizza

• Prepare and stretch fresh pizza dough.
• Produce authentic Italian pizzas using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
• Maintain consistency during busy service periods.

General Kitchen Duties

• Maintain exceptional food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Ensure food quality and portion control standards are met.
• Assist with stock control and minimise food waste.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
• Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures.

Requirements
