Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting for an Engineering Completion Lead (Piping) to join a site-based team on a Nuclear New Build project in North Somerset. The role involves leading engineers to complete piping scope on site, managing pressure tests, flushing, drying and preservation up to handover to Commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have piping engineering/commissioning experience, a degree in engineering, and a meticulous approach to deliver safe, on-time, quality outcomes in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in a related engineering field.
• Piping engineering, installation and/or commissioning experience.
• Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
• Proven experience in pressure test and completion activities.
• Meticulous and rigorous approach to engineering.
• Proven ability to deliver engineering safely to quality, time and cost in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people leadership skills.
• Ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Installation Contractors and prepare documentation for pressure tests and related activities up to handover to Commissioning.
• Define strategy for on-site pressure test activities for project pipework (circa 1500 loops per unit).
• Lead Installation Contractors pressure test team and construction team.
• Coordinate with Contracts Project Managers and upstream engineering colleagues.
• Lead development of a digital tool to support pressure test loop definition.
• Ensure integration of post-construction needs into the construction sequence and handover to Commissioning.
