Uniper seeks a Pipelines Maintenance Engineer to drive maintenance strategies for gas pipeline assets, oversee outages, and lead fault resolution. You will use SAP, PT-Risk and Synergy Life to log data and improve maintenance practices, while supporting safety and reliability across teams.

You will play a hands-on role in safety processes, act as Senior Authorised Person, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant operations aligned with Uniper’s energy transition goals.

Formación

• Experience applying maintenance best practices in a process/utility environment.
• Proficient with CMMS to record history, schedule tasks and track performance.
• Strong understanding of process safety and health/safety legislation.
• Ability to plan and deliver maintenance activities effectively.
• Fault-finding and problem-solving experience in a process industry.

Responsabilidades

• Develop maintenance strategies to ensure long-term integrity of gas pipeline assets.
• Plan, oversee and execute maintenance during outages including pressure system overhauls.
• Diagnose issues and drive quick resolution to support asset reliability.
• Manage contracts from specification to delivery, ensuring safety, timeliness and budget adherence.
• Use SAP, PT-Risk and Synergy Life to record data and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform Safety Rules Process and act as Senior Authorised Person.
• Serve as Pipeline Emergency Response Officer (PERO) for 24/7 coverage.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for safe, efficient operations.

Your responsibilities

• You will deliver and support the development of maintenance strategies, helping to ensure the long-term integrity and performance of Uniper’s gas pipeline assets.
• You will plan, oversee and execute maintenance activities during outages, including overhaul of pressure control systems and Pressure system inspections.
• You will take a hands-on approach to fault finding and investigation, resolving issues quickly to support asset reliability and meet performance targets.
• You will manage contracts from specification through to delivery, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  You will use systems like SAP, PT-Risk, and Synergy Life to record technical history, analyse data, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
• You will perform the Safety Rules Process, including performing the role of Senior Authorised Person to enact safety from the system.
• You will act as the Pipeline Emergency Response Officer (PERO), providing 24/7 call-out cover as part of the team and leading emergency responses to protect people, assets, and the environment.
• You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to a safe, efficient, and commercially sound operation that supports Uniper’s energy transition goals.

Your profile

• Educated to Higher National Certificate (HNC) level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, or able to demonstrate equivalent technical knowledge and experience.
• Demonstrable experience working within a process industry or utilities environment.
• Strong understanding of maintenance best practices and the ability to apply them using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as SAP.
• Knowledge of process safety and relevant health, safety and environmental legislation, with a proactive approach to promoting a positive safety culture.
• Ability to effectively plan and deliver maintenance activities.
• Proven fault-finding and problem-solving experience in a process environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a close-knit team.
