Job summary

Recruit4staff LTD is representing an established engineering and fabrication company recruiting a Pipe Welder for their Skelmersdale workshop. You will TIG weld on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework, following technical drawings to achieve precise welds and ensure structural integrity.

The role is hands-on with core hours 7am–3:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am–12:00pm Friday. Overtime is paid at enhanced rates and the position is temporary.

Qualifications

• TIG welding of stainless steel and carbon steel
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• NVQ/C&G in TIG Welding or equivalent

Responsibilities

• TIG weld stainless steel and carbon steel pipework following drawings to ensure precision welds
• Quality inspection of finished work to ensure high standards and structural integrity

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering and fabrication company in their search for a Pipe Welder to work in Skelmersdale

Job Role: Working in their workshop, the Pipe Welder will carry out TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework, following technical drawings to complete precision welds. The role will also involve quality inspection of finished work to ensure high standards. This is a hands‑on position focused on welding accuracy and structural integrity.

Job Details:

Pay: £23.00 - £28.00 per hour (CIS)

Hours of Work: Core Hours: 7am–3:30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday is 7am–12:00pm

Duration: Temporary

Benefits: Overtime paid at enhanced rates

Essential Skills & Experience:

• TIG welding of stainless steel and carbon steel
• Working from drawings

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Coded TIG welder for 6G
• Some Fabrication
• Experience with steel fabrication

Essential Qualifications:

• NVQ/C&G in TIG Welding or equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

• Coded TIG welder for 6G
