Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering and fabrication company in their search for a Pipe Welder to work in Skelmersdale. Working in their workshop, the Pipe Welder will carry out TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework, following technical drawings to complete precision welds.

This is a hands-on role focused on welding accuracy and structural integrity. The position offers a temporary contract with core hours 7am-3:30pm Monday to Thursday, and Friday

Qualifications

TIG welding of stainless steel and carbon steel from drawings.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
NVQ/C&G in TIG Welding or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Weld using TIG on stainless and carbon steel pipework.
Follow technical drawings to achieve precise welds.
Inspect finished work for quality and structural integrity.
