Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is recruiting registered healthcare professionals in Brighton to become PIP Functional Assessors, with full training provided. You'll speak with applicants, assess how health conditions affect daily living, and produce evidence-based reports.

The role offers Monday–Friday hybrid working, starting at £45,000 with increases to £46,000 after 6 months and £47,000 after 12 months; prior clinical experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Current NMC or HCPC registration
• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Confidence using IT and completing clinical documentation
• Ability to communicate sensitively with people with diverse health conditions

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured assessments by telephone, video and/or face-to-face
• Discuss physical and mental health conditions and their functional impact
• Ask appropriate questions to gather relevant information
• Review available medical evidence
• Use clinical judgement to understand functional ability
• Produce clear, evidence-based reports
