Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Sunderland. This hybrid role targets nurses, paramedics, physiotherapists or occupational therapists to perform functional assessments for PIP, focusing on clinical reasoning and high-quality reporting.

The position offers a competitive salary (£39,500–£41,000) with potential OTE up to £47,150, plus a hybrid working model, training and clear progression routes.

Qualifications

• Registered professionals with NMC/HCPC registration.
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with digital systems and typing.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Conduct PIP assessments (face-to-face and telephone).
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Hybrid working with time at assessment centres.
