Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is recruiting Healthcare Professionals for PIP Disability Assessor roles in Farnborough. These positions offer a Monday–Friday pattern with hybrid working and both full-time and part-time options, focusing on structured assessments for the DWP.

You will conduct structured telephone and face-to-face assessments, gather detailed clinical histories, review medical evidence, and produce clear, impartial reports.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted professional registration with the relevant regulatory body.
• At least 12 months of UK post-registration clinical experience in an adult setting.
• Strong clinical reasoning and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Confidence using IT systems and digital platforms.
• Willingness to undertake structured training and follow established assessment guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conducting structured telephone and face-to-face PIP assessments.
• Exploring how physical, mental health and cognitive conditions affect daily living and mobility.
• Gathering detailed clinical histories and information about an individual's functional abilities.
• Reviewing medical evidence and supporting documentation.
• Applying clinical reasoning to assess the information provided.
• Producing accurate, impartial and evidence-based reports for the DWP.
• Managing your workload while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
