Job summary

Everpool Recruitment in Gloucester is seeking a PIP Disability Assessor to join a hybrid team. The role runs Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with no nights, weekends or bank holidays, and offers homeworking alongside local office assessments.

You will use clinical knowledge and professional judgement to produce clear reports for the DWP, assessing how conditions affect daily living and mobility.

Qualifications

• Current NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good report-writing ability.
• Confidence using IT.
• At least 1 year post-registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PIP assessments via telephone and face-to-face appointments.
• Assess how health conditions and disabilities affect daily living and mobility.
• Review medical evidence and information provided by claimants.
• Use clinical reasoning and professional judgement to assess functional ability objectively.
• Produce clear, accurate and detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
• Ensure assessments are completed to a high professional and clinical standard.
