Everpool Recruitment is hiring a PIP Disability Assessor in Southampton with a hybrid working pattern and Monday–Friday hours. You will assess how health conditions impact daily living and mobility, turning findings into objective reports for DWP decisions.

The role offers £40,000–£42,000 per year, 25 days leave, training, and a blend of site-based and hybrid work after training. Registration and clinical experience are required, with full UK work rights.

Formación

• Active, full and unrestricted registration with the NMC, HCPC or GPhC.
• Registration as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Pharmacist.
• At least one year of post-registration adult clinical experience.
• Experience and confidence in assessing or supporting adults with a range of health conditions.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong analytical skills, clinical reasoning and report-writing ability.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out structured assessments face-to-face, by telephone or by video, depending on requirements.
• Review medical evidence, clinical histories and supporting documentation.
• Assess how physical, mental health and cognitive conditions affect daily living activities and mobility.
• Apply clinical knowledge, reasoning and professional judgement to the information gathered.
• Produce comprehensive, accurate and evidence-based assessment reports.
• Treat every individual with empathy, professionalism and strict confidentiality.
