Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Sunderland. This hybrid role uses your clinical expertise to conduct PIP assessments, analyse evidence, and write detailed reports, while remaining aligned to quality frameworks.

The position offers structured pay progression, a supportive training programme and a balanced hybrid schedule with no evenings or bank holidays. Suitable for NMC/HCPC registered nurses and allied health professionals.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or HCPC registered professional with UK experience.
• Experience in functional assessments or advisory roles is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and data entry skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality written clinical reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face and telephone PIP assessments with empathy.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed, evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend assessment centres as required.
