Thames Valley Police is seeking qualified PIP2 investigators for the Major Crime Unit. This role involves managing serious crime investigations, supporting victims, and working flexibly during major incidents. Applications are sought from qualified PIP2 investigators or PIP1 investigators through the NIE who are working towards accreditation, looking to develop themselves and work in the investigation of the most serious offences. Successful applicants will work in Major Crime incident rooms, playing a pivotal role in homicide investigations, with opportunities to develop as investigators and specialise in interviewing witnesses, suspects, and supporting victims' families.

Due to the nature of the role, there may be a requirement to work flexibly outside normal hours or in different locations, especially during major incidents or complex investigations, with appropriate overtime and travel allowances.
