Police Staff Investigator PIP Level 1 & 2 – HC617354

Salary: Police Staff Scale 6 (PIP1) £30,783 to £32,772 and SO1 (PIP2), £33,915 to £35,982 per annum or pro rata for part-time

Contract: Agency for up to 12 months

Hours: Part or Full Time (Full time is 37 hours per week)

Police Staff Investigators support our front line officers with a wide range of investigative activities including statement taking, CCTV review, suspect interviewing, Offences Taken into Consideration (TICs), intelligence interviews, and file building including disclosure declarations.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary seek experienced investigators able to travel to various locations. This role offers a chance to join a professional and dedicated team handling a variety of investigations.

This is a non-case-holding position, supporting action teams within Criminal Investigation Departments and collaborating with current investigators on Serious and Complex crimes.

We are seeking PIP 1 or 2 or equivalent individuals with proven experience in investigative roles, ideally with knowledge of Criminal Law and Justice procedures.

This role is suitable for an experienced Detective, Police Constable, Sergeant, Inspector, Police Staff Investigator, or Civilian Investigator looking to utilize skills developed through previous police service.
