Job summary

Staffline is hiring a Picker/Packer to work in Gadbrook, Northwich. This full-time role offers fixed day shifts from 2pm to 10pm and an hourly rate starting at £12.71, rising to £16.21 with progression.

You will pick in a chilled area (2-3°C), use the JDA system and a pump truck, with some lifting and a lot of walking. English is required for H&S/JDA training and you must be free Fridays to Sundays.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Able to work in a chilled environment (2-3°C) and walk long distances.
• English communication required for H&S and JDA training.

Responsibilities

Staffline is recruiting Picker/Packer to work in Gadbrook, Northwich.

The rate of pay is:

• 0-12 weeks £12.71 per hour
• Lates 13+ weeks £16.21 per hour
• Days 13 + weeks £15.33 per hour

This is a full-time role working fixed day shifts, the hours of work are:

• 2pm to 10pm

Applicants will need to be available to work every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Due to the shift patterns, this job is not suitable for students.

Your Time at Work

As a Picker/Packer your duties will include picking fresh products in a chilled area (2-3 degrees) while using the JDA system and pump truck.

There will be some lifting (not heavy lifting) and a lot of walking involved in this role.

Our perfect worker will be able to work as part of a team and be flexible. You must be happy to work towards targets and deadlines.

Applicants will need to be able to communicate in English as you will need to pass H&S/F&S onsite and also JDA training.

No previous experience is necessary as a Picker/Packer as full training is provided.
