Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor

Contract type:

Full time, permanent (part time will also be considered)

Location:

Leeds city centre

Salary:

Negotiable depending upon experience and qualifications

Opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor to join our well-established law firm based in Leeds City Centre.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Manage and proactively progress your own portfolio of claims, keeping relevant parties updated.
2. Handle cases from initial instruction through to settlement.
3. Review and respond to all correspondence and emails from clients and other parties.
4. Manage caseloads of pre- and post-litigated EL/PL and RTA files, from inception to settlement.
5. Focus on quality client care and efficient case progression.

Candidate Requirements:

• NQ to 2-year PQE Solicitor.
• Experience in managing caseloads independently preferred but not essential for newly qualified applicants.
• Solid litigation experience; familiarity with RTA, EL, and PL desirable.
• Excellent client care, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of the OIC and MOJ Pre Action Protocol and Civil Procedure.
• Ability to draft legal documents, liaise with clients, medical professionals, and third parties.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated with changes in personal injury law and procedures.
