Bidfood UK is seeking a reliable Stock Control Assistant / PI Operative to join our warehouse team in the UK. The role focuses on maintaining stock accuracy through a 20-day perpetual inventory cycle and supporting everyday stock management of date-sensitive products.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
We are looking for a reliable, organised, and proactive Stock Control Assistant / PI Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to think outside the box in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The primary objective of this role is to maintain the accuracy and integrity of stock held within the depot by completing a 20-day perpetual inventory (PI) cycle, while supporting the day-to-day management of warehouse stock, including date-sensitive products.
In this role, you will:
Previous experience in stock control, warehousing, inventory management, or a similar role would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Forklift experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Please note that the role involves a degree of physical activity, and good attendance and timekeeping are essential requirements.
