Qualifications

• PI fee earner with exposure to Intermediate Track and Civil Procedure Rules.
• Experience managing your own caseload with autonomy.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation and procedural requirements.
• Experience dealing with liability, quantum, medical evidence and settlement negotiations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Client-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team while taking ownership of your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of intermediate-track personal injury claims from inception through to conclusion.
• Take responsibility for all aspects of case progression, including liability, quantum, evidence and litigation.
• Review and assess medical evidence and other supporting documentation.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss and other relevant legal documentation.
• Value claims and prepare cases for settlement.
• Conduct negotiations with insurers and other third parties.
• Instruct and liaise with medical and other experts where required.
• Advise clients throughout the lifecycle of their claim and manage expectations effectively.
• Ensure files are progressed in accordance with relevant procedural requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with internal processes and quality standards.
• Work towards individual and team performance targets.
