Job summary

CRA Consulting is recruiting an experienced Personal Injury Litigator for its Intermediate Track team in Sheffield. You will handle EL/PL claims, manage a busy caseload, and progress disputes with strong evidence, underpinned by robust compliance.

The role offers opportunities to work on complex matters, with a supportive structure and potential for flexible working patterns, including part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a Personal Injury caseload.
• Strong Employers' Liability and Public Liability experience.
• Exposure to Intermediate Track or more complex claims.
• Good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Understanding of the relevant Pre-Action Protocols.
• Strong liability and quantum investigation skills.
• Experience negotiating settlements.
• Ability to progress litigated matters.
• Excellent client communication and organisational skills.
• The confidence to work independently as part of a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Investigating liability and quantum.
• Reviewing medical reports and supporting evidence.
• Advising clients throughout the claim.
• Drafting schedules of loss and legal documentation.
• Working within the relevant Pre-Action Protocols.
• Applying the Civil Procedure Rules and Intermediate Track requirements.
• Negotiating settlements with defendants and insurers.
• Issuing and progressing court proceedings where appropriate.
• Liaising with medical experts, counsel and other third parties.
• Maintaining strong standards of compliance, file management and client care.
