Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd. is seeking an experienced Account Handler to manage Professional Indemnity renewals for a portfolio of professional services clients in Manchester. You will coordinate information gathering, insurer submissions and term negotiations, delivering clear guidance to clients.

What would you actually be doing?

• Looking after a portfolio of professional services clients. Solicitors, accountants, architects, engineers. You'd own their Professional Indemnity renewals from start to finish, gathering the information, getting it in front of the right insurers, negotiating terms and making sure your clients understand what they're buying.

• There'll be mid-term adjustments, the odd awkward claim conversation and new business to support. You know the drill. The difference is you'd be doing it somewhere that backs you.

What do you need?

Experience as an Account Handler working on Professional Indemnity or wider financial lines insurance, either at a broker or an insurer. You'll need to know the market and be comfortable talking to clients and underwriters alike.

If you've got your Cert CII, great. If you're working towards it, they'll support you.
