Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join the team in the UK. You will manage and service a portfolio of commercial clients, working closely with Account Executives and supporting renewals, adjustments and day-to-day client requirements.

Expect liaison with insurers and clients while building your technical and broking knowledge. Candidates with around 2-3 years' commercial handling or broking experience will fit best.

This could be worth a look. An established insurance broker is looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join the team, working with a group of experienced Account Executives and a varied portfolio of non-SME clients.

The clients typically sit above the £10k premium mark, so this isn't purely SME business. You'll get exposure to a broad mix of commercial risks, including construction, manufacturing, property, liability, motor trade and fleet.

You don't need to have experience across every sector. What matters more is having the right attitude, being keen to learn and wanting to build your career.

The role will involve:

• Managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial clients
• Working closely with Account Executives
• Handling renewals, adjustments and day-to-day client requirements
• Liaising with insurers and clients
• Building your technical and broking knowledge
• Supporting the wider team and contributing to the overall client service

The role would suit someone who has around 2-3 years' commercial handling or broking experience and is ready for the next step.

There's also genuine scope to progress longer term, including into more senior or management responsibilities for the right person.
