Job summary

Circle Health Nottingham is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant (bank role) to support the physiotherapy team. You will assist with interventions, guide patients through prescribed exercises, and help prepare treatment areas.

This flexible role covers busy periods and staff absence, with duties spanning clinical and administrative tasks. The position requires good communication, a caring patient-focused approach, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, care, or rehabilitation setting.
• Basic literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of physiotherapy interventions under supervision.
• Support patients with prescribed exercises and mobility practice.
• Set up and prepare treatment areas and equipment for sessions.
• Provide reassurance and motivation to patients during therapy.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, stock checks and preparation of materials.
• Follow health and safety, infection control and safeguarding procedures.
