The Park Hospital Bank Shifts in Nottingham is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to join the Physiotherapy department on a bank basis. You will supplement staffing during busy periods and cover for annual leave or absence.

You will assist with delivering physiotherapy interventions, supporting patients with exercises, and helping prepare treatment areas while ensuring safety and compassionate care. Flexible hours available.

Formación

• Experience in a healthcare, care or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a multidisciplinary team is required.
• Caring, patient-focused approach and commitment to promoting independence is important.
• Basic literacy, numeracy and IT skills are expected.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Provide reassurance and motivation to patients during therapy sessions.

• Follow health and safety, infection control and safeguarding procedures.

The Park Hospital Bank Shifts Salary: Up to £14.97 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The Park Hospital in Nottingham is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Assist with the delivery of physiotherapy interventions as directed by a registered Physiotherapist.
• Support patients with prescribed exercises, mobility practice, and therapeutic activities in a safe and compassionate manner.
• Set up and prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring all equipment is safe, clean, and ready for use.
• Provide reassurance and motivation to patients during therapy, helping build confidence and engagement.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, stock checks, and preparation of therapy materials.
• Follow all relevant health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding procedures.
